Frank Wiener, founder
Frank received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and after practicing law for a short period founded the company in 1980. Textnet, then Magne-Script was the very first digital court reporting company in the state of Wisconsin. His innovative method combined the job of the videographer and court reporter into one, a digital court reporter. In 1999, the company became the first paperless digital court reporting company when Frank decided to utilize an online repository for all transcripts, and Magne-Script became Textnet - text on the internet. Frank passed in 2013, but his legacy continues to live on through his youngest daughter and current president of Textnet.
Eva Walsh, president
Eva received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She started managing the company in 2010, and in 2013, became president of the company. Eva has more than 16 years of experience reporting and managing in the digital court reporting industry. She is a member of the American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers, and has earned the designations of Certified Electronic Reporter and Certified Digital and Legal Transcriber.
